Celebrating the “Art of Adornment” at Contemporary Arts Museum Houston

Calendar | November 18, 2014

Characters | Chairs: Blakely Griggs, Cecilia Harris & Jennifer Segal; Hostess: Susanne Pritchard

Cause | Another Great Night benefitting the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. Ladies only! NO BOYS ALLOWED.

Collaboration | The evening, presented by Tenenbaum & Co., was aptly themed Art of Adornment. As presenting sponsor, Tenenbaum designed 12 pairs of custom earrings that were awarded to the winners of the event’s main event: a scavenger hunt and quiz through the hostesses home centered around their outstanding contemporary art collection. To underscore the theme, Tenenbaum also adorned the dining room table with over $5 MILLION in jewels and invited guests to try their favorite pieces on. These pieces were selected and displayed alongside women who, throughout history, have been made famous by their love of gems and jewels! The inspiration included: Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Coco Chanel, Grace Kelly and Wallace Simpson.
